Award nominees are either individuals, or groups of State Bar of Wisconsin members, who will be considered for this award based upon their significant efforts put towards a recent or ongoing law-related educational or public service-related project. |
Nomination Criteria: |
Staying true to the Foundation's mission, the Gordon Sinykin Award of Excellence recognizes a lawyer, law firm, or groups of State Bar of Wisconsin members, for their work on a recent or ongoing law-related education or public service project that promotes public understanding of the law, improves the administration of justice, or provides other law-related public service that impacts Wisconsin residents and/or State Bar members.

Nominations must be received annually by January 31st |
Award Presented: |
The Member Recognition Celebration at the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Annual Meeting & Conference. |
Nomination Procedure: |
Each nomination should include:
- A letter of nomination, including the reasons you are nominating the person for the award;
- The nominee’s qualifications in resume or similar format.
- One to five (with a maximum of five) letters of recommendation from individuals who are knowledgeable about the nominee’s qualification.
