March 16, 2016 – Even Han Solo had Chewbacca. You don’t have to go it alone.
Learn how to start from the ground up at the Considerations for Starting a Law Practice CLE Event, hosted by the State Bar of Wisconsin Solo/Small Firm & General Practice Section, in Pewaukee.
The seminar is perfect for young lawyers, law students, and any attorney who is considering “going solo,” or a solo who wants greater insight into managing a solo practice.
The sessions are designed to help you through the process of planning and starting your own practice – covering what you really need to know to be a successful solo practitioner.
CLE sessions address a wide variety of topics including:
- how to start a solo practice
- money matters - how much you need to start and how to do it
- file management, workflow, and practice management software
- how to attract good clients
- how to be an efficient and successful solo attorney
- how to avoid malpractice
The seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, and includes a box lunch. It is held at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee.
The seminar will be submitted to the Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners for up to 6 CLE credits, including 1 EPR credit. To learn more or register, visit the event page on Marketplace on WisBar.org.
