Jaekels S.C., Green Bay, as an associate and concentrates on family law,

president and secretary at Aurora Health Care, Milwaukee, and is

Physicians Service Insurance Corp., Madison. She previously was vice
president, regulatory services.

laude, has joined the Madison office of DeWitt Ross & Stevens SC as
an associate and focuses on patent drafting and prosecution for
electrical and mechanical technologies. He previously was with another

Three attorneys have been appointed Dane County Circuit Court
judges by Gov. Jim Doyle. The Hon. Peter Anderson, Harvard 1980,
previously was an administrative law judge with the Wisconsin Division
of Hearings and Appeals. The Hon. Nick
McNamara, U.W. 1993, previously was in private practice in Madison.
The Hon. Amy R. Smith, U.W. 1989, previously was a Dane County
assistant district attorney.
Mike Koehler, U.W. 2000, has joined the College of Business
at Butler University, Indianapolis, as an assistant professor of
business law and focuses on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He
previously was senior counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP, Milwaukee.
Neal Schall Krokosky, U.W. 2009, has joined Otjen, Van Ert
& Weir S.C., Milwaukee, and concentrates in general liability
defense.
Nathan T. Leong, U.W. 2009, has joined Bell, Gierhart &
Moore S.C., Madison, as an associate and focuses on business law, family

Dean R. Zakos, Marquette 1979, has joined Dempsey,
Williamson, Kelly & Hertel LLP, Oshkosh, as of counsel in the
business practice group. He previously was with Modine Manufacturing
Co., Racine.
Lora L. Zimmer, Yale 2003, has been promoted to partner in
the Appleton office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP and continues to
focus on health care law and insurance services.

Steven D. Hitzeman, Marquette 1988, has formed Hitzeman

focuses on personal injury, worker’s compensation, and Social
Security disability cases. He previously was a shareholder with
Stellpflug Law, De Pere.
Edward S. Marion, U.W. 1974, has formed Edward S. Marion
Attorney-at-Law LLC, Madison, and focuses on energy,
telecommunications, general administrative law, and civil appeals. He
formerly was general counsel and an administrative law judge for the
Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.
Scott A. Wales, Miami 1987, has relocated Law Offices of
Scott A. Wales LLC to 839 N. Jefferson St., Suite 300, Milwaukee,
and continues to focus on criminal defense matters in Wisconsin and
Illinois state and federal courts.

Nate Cade, Michigan 1996, has been appointed cochair of the
Products Liability Committee of the ABA’s Litigation Section. He
is a partner in the Milwaukee office of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP
and focuses on products liability claims with the litigation practice
group.

Isaac J. Roang, Georgetown 2007, has been elected vice
president of the Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra board and is chair of the
board’s governance committee. He is with the real estate group in

the State Bar Health Law Section board. He is a shareholder and member
of the health care practice in the Madison office of Godfrey & Kahn

The Hon. James A. Wynn Jr., Marquette 1979, has been elected
vice president of the Uniform Law Commission, which drafts and promotes
enactment of uniform laws. He is on the North Carolina Court of
Appeals.

Dennis Boyer, West Virginia 1978, edited the Interactivity
Foundation’s discussion report, The Future of Regulation,
after facilitating two 12-month-long discussion panels in Wisconsin.
