About the Conference
The 2022 Wisconsin Solo and small Firm Conference (WSSFC) is meeting you wherever you want to be. This year's event will feature a hybrid model, giving you the flexibility to choose the type of attendance that best fits your professional and personal needs. Whether you decide to attend 100% virtually, attend in-person at the Kalahari Resort, or choose both – you'll come away with action plans that help you practice law, manage your business, and enjoy life.
Designed specifically to address the challenges that smaller firms face, WSSFC gives you the space to learn, network, and troubleshoot among peers. It's where you can come to get tips on what to do as your practice grows or to meet new people and expand your connections. You'll get reliable updates on legal developments in multiple practice areas. You can even share what you wish opposing counsel would stop screwing up and find solutions for the things that are keeping you up at night.
For quality content delivered in a flexible, convenient format, join us live October 27-29, online November 14-16, or attend both!

Customize Your Conference Experience
With six powerful plenaries and 32 individual breakout sessions, WSSFC features customizable education, networking, and opportunities to make business exchanges.
Additionally, earn even more credits watching select complimentary webcast replays in November and December. Complimentary webcast replays of eight sessions will be available to attendees of the in-person conference in October. Virtual conference attendees will not receive complimentary access to webcast replays, but can register for them separately after the conference.
CLE, EPR, LPM, and LAU Credits
WSSFC will be submitted to the Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners for up to 16.5 credit hours. You'll sign in each morning and choose the best sessions to meet your needs. Depending on the sessions you attend, you can build a schedule from a variety of credit types as described below.
At the Kalahari: 16.5 overall credit hours will be offered, comprised of a variety of CLE, EPR, LAU, and LPM credit types from six plenaries and 32 breakout session options! A specific credit breakdown by session can be located on the schedule.
Virtual attendees: 16.5 overall credit hours will be offered, comprised of a variety of CLE, EPR, LAU, and LPM credit types from six plenaries and 32 breakout session options! A specific credit breakdown by session can be located on the schedule
All access attendees (those attending both in-person and virtually): Stuck choosing between multiple breakout session options happening at the same time? Now you can earn even more CLE by doubling the amount of breakout sessions you can attend.
All attendees will self-report their CLE. If you're attending at the Kalahari, you should see the registration desk at the event if you're looking to obtain additional documentation of sessions attended.
What's a LPM/LAU credit?
Effective July 1, 2017, lawyers can earn up to 6.0 hours of Law Practice Management (LPM) and up to 6.0 Lawyer Awareness and Understanding (LAU) credits toward the 30 hours of approved CLE required during a reporting period. See SCR 31.02 (3) and (4) for more information.
