How Do I Register?

There are four ways to register for the 2024 Annual Meeting & Conference:

Ultimate Pass Holders

State Bar of Wisconsin PINNACLE Ultimate Pass Gold holders will not be charged any tuition to attend the 2024 Annual Meeting & Conference. Ultimate Pass Silver holders receive 50% off tuition (see Registration on the homepage). The Thursday luncheon is an additional $40 for both types of registrations.

Luncheon

Luncheons are not included in your regular registration and must be separately selected and included with your tuition on your registration form. If you wish to attend the Thursday luncheon, a fee of $35 ($50 nonmembers) is required.

Pre-Registration Deadline

Pre-registration is available until 5 p.m. on June 18, 2024. There will be on-site registration at the KI Convention Center, including Thursday's luncheon (based on availability).

Registration Deadlines

Registration is available through the duration of the event. Prorated tuitions are NOT available for registrations received after the start of the event.

Guest Party Package

All attendees must have a CONFERENCE name badge to enter any Conference CLE or plenary sessions, meals, continental breakfasts, receptions, parties, and the Legal Expo. There are no exceptions. For security purposes, please wear your badge at all times.

    • Marquette University Law School and Wisconsin Law School alumni celebration (all are invited regardless of where you attended law school)


  • Thursday:

    • Continental Breakfast and Session Breaks

    • Lawyers at Lambeau All-Conference Bash

    • After-Party - Titletown Brewery

  • Friday:

    • Continental Breakfast and Session Breaks

Registration Cancellation

Registration cancellations received by 4:30 p.m. CT on June 5, 2024, will receive a full registration fee refund. We're sorry, no refunds will be granted after that date. However, you may transfer the full value of your registration fee to another person's registration for this event. No refunds will be issued for any missed sessions or events, including sessions missed due to travel delays or cancellations.

What's Included in My Registration Fee?

Registration includes access to the Wednesday WALA sessions, plenary speaker sessions, CLE breakouts, Legal Expo, continental breakfasts on Thursday and Friday, conference breaks, all receptions, celebrations, parties, recreational activities, and the chance for entry into prize drawings. It also includes conference course materials via downloadable formats.

Judicial Package

The Judicial Package includes all activities listed in the Guest Party Package. Is also includes access to the breakout sessions and plenary sessions. The package does not include the recording or reporting of any CLE credit hours. The package does not include the plenary luncheon. Please add the option for the luncheon if you wish to receive a lunch.

Judicial Education Credits Hours

The 2024 Annual Meeting & Conference is approved for judicial education credit hours. Complete and submit any forms required by the Judicial Education Commission directly to them for education credit.

Wisconsin Association of Legal Administrators

The Wisconsin Association of Legal Administrators (WALA) will be holding their Annual Continuing Education Conference in conjunction and cooperation with AMC. State Bar and WALA members will have the opportunity to mix and mingle.

WALA sessions developed specifically to meet WALA attendees' continuing education needs will be available Wednesday afternoon. These sessions may also qualify for CLE credit hours for lawyers. ALL registrants are welcome to attend these sessions.

Again this year – in addition to the full conference package – is a one-day WALA Wednesday registration. In this package, WALA registrants will be entitled to attend the three WALA Wednesday educational programs and the reception following.

The full conference package will not only provide WALA members access to the WALA Wednesday programming and reception but also to plenary speaker sessions, CLE breakouts, Legal Expo, continental breakfasts on Thursday and Friday, conference breaks, all receptions, celebrations, parties, recreational activities, and the chance for entry into prize drawings.

At the Conference

Conference Materials

Registrants will have access to downloadable course materials before the conference under myMedia at WisBar.org. Attendees who register under the guest party package will not receive materials.

Conference Access

All attendees must register for the conference and have a CONFERENCE name badge to access CLE sessions, meals, continental breakfasts, receptions, parties, and the Legal Expo. No exceptions.

Special Needs and Accommodations

If you need special accommodations, please contact Toni Wood​ at (608) 250-6142 at least three weeks prior to the conference so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Attire

Casual business wear is appropriate for this event. Feel free to leave suits and ties at home.

After the Conference

CLE Credit Hour Information

The AMC will be submitted to the Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners for up to 11.0 credit hours based on your individual participation*. You'll sign in each morning and choose the best sessions to meet your needs. Depending on the sessions you attend, you can build a schedule from a variety of credit types as described below.

At the KI Center: 11.0 overall credit hours will be offered, comprised of a variety of CLE, EPR, LAU, and LPM credit types from 3 plenaries and 18 breakout session options! A specific credit breakdown by session will be located on the schedule.

After the Conference: Additionally, you can earn even more credits watching select complimentary webcast replays in August and September. Complimentary webcast replays of eight sessions will be available to attendees of the in-person conference in June.

*Effective July 1, 2017, the BBE allows lawyers to earn up to 6 hours LPM (Law Practice Management) and 6 hours LAU (Lawyer Awareness & Understanding) credit towards the 30 hours of approved CLE required during a reporting period. Please see SCR 31.02 (3) and (4) for more information.

Worried about missing a breakout session? Relax. We'll be recording and webcasting select breakout sessions – and conference attendees can attend the first two sets of webcasts for free.

Watch for this symbol! We will record select sessions of the Conference and webcast them at a later date. All attendees can watch select replays for free!

​Wisconsin Law Foundation Scholarships

O'Melia Scholarships

The Foundation will award O'Melia Scholarships to past participants of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Leadership Summit or Leadership Academy. Please email Beth Drake for more information.

Diversity Clerkship Program Scholarships

The Foundation will also award scholarships to past State Bar of Wisconsin Diversity Clerkship Program participants. To be eligible for the Clerkship scholarships, members must be past participants of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Diversity Clerkship Program and within their first five years of practice.
