The La Crosse County Bar Association (LCBA) has more than 150 members serving the legal needs of the La Crosse area. It meets most Mondays from early October through the end of April for lunch at the Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern in La Crosse. The lunch and a one-credit CLE presentation is $11. The association also sponsors a three-credit ethics seminar annually. In addition, the LCBA is involved in community service projects, including Jim's Grocery Bag, which funds 11 La Crosse School District food pantries.
To inquire or to join the LCBA, contact an association officer. Annual membership dues are: regular, $50; practicing less than 5 years, $30; and retired/inactive, $10. Dues are collected in October.
